Penn Medicine: high-risk patients did their NSTs at home

Utilization of a wireless monitoring device to perform nonstress tests in high-risk pregnancies from home

In short

At Penn Medicine, 34 patients with high-risk pregnancies enrolled and 29 did their nonstress tests at home with INVU. 93.9% of appointments produced an interpretable test, and patients avoided an office visit in 88.5% of visits. 22 of the 23 patients surveyed said they would prefer remote tests in a future pregnancy.
