Overview · INVU™ by Nuvo
Prenatal monitoring from anywhere.
The first FDA-cleared non-stress test an expectant mother takes at home.* She wears a soft band and starts each test from an app; her care provider reviews it remotely.
A non-stress test the expectant mother takes herself, reviewed by her care provider
INVU™ by Nuvo is a remote monitoring system for the non-stress test (NST), the routine check of the baby’s heart rate late in pregnancy. The expectant mother wears a soft band and starts each session from an app, wherever she is; her care provider reviews the full tracing remotely and decides what happens next.
- FDA-cleared510(k) K210025 (2021) and K221046 (2022).
- PrescribedOn a physician’s order, for singleton pregnancies from 32 weeks.
- Shipped to her doorNuvo sends the kit; when the care plan ends, it goes back to Nuvo.
- From anywhereAt home, at work or wherever she is, on the schedule her care provider sets.
- Three signalsFetal heart rate, maternal heart rate and contractions.
- Reviewed by her care providerEvery tracing opens in INVU™ Pro; the clinician interprets and decides.
INVU™ does not replace prenatal visits or emergency care. If the baby moves less than usual, call the doctor right away. What is a non-stress test? →
One platform, three parts
The expectant mother takes the test at home; her care provider reviews it remotely; Nuvo’s data platform connects them and stores the home recordings.

INVU™ Sensor Band + App
A soft band and an app, shipped to her door. She takes each prescribed NST at home or at work.

INVU™ Pro
The professional dashboard: the clinician reviews every tracing remotely and decides.

INVU™ Data Platform + Data Lake
The platform turns the raw signals into fetal heart rate, maternal heart rate and contractions. The data lake holds the home recordings, made on FDA-cleared hardware, with consent for research use.
For researchers: we invite academic and clinical teams to collaborate on the data.
*FDA 510(k) K210025 (2021) and K221046 (2022): remote, self-administered monitoring of fetal heart rate, maternal heart rate and uterine activity for non-stress testing; singleton pregnancies from 32 weeks; on a physician’s order.

With platforms, such as INVU, I believe that we are on the cusp of a new era in maternal care, marked by safety, equity, and innovation.
It was soooo easy to use and nice to do it at home!
I thought it was easy and intuitive. No problems navigating. I have my nurse enroll the patient, but reading the NSTs and interpreting very easy.
We love INVU! It gives expectant mothers comfort and peace of mind.
