Using AI to Transform Global Healthcare | Nuvo

Sheba Medical Center, Israel’s largest hospital, is building what it calls the hospital of the future: more than 90 artificial intelligence projects are in development or already in use there. In June 2025 Sheba released a short film on that work, and Nuvo is one of the projects it shows.

The Nuvo part starts at 0:46. Prof. Avi Tsur, Director of the Hybrid Antepartum High-Risk Pregnancy Unit at Sheba Beyond, explains how the hospital cares for high-risk pregnancies at home, while a patient wearing the INVU band reads her session on her phone. The video below opens at that point.

“We leverage many technologies to allow the women with high risk pregnancy to be at home… We call it intense remote care. We do fetal monitoring, fetal ultrasound conversations…”

Sheba has also told this story in its own words, in an article on AI-driven prenatal care for high-risk pregnancies and in a short film on caring for high-risk pregnancies at home.
